University of Utah Health Plans (“UofU”) is the only university healthcare system in Utah. It's known for its provider network which includes the University of Utah and MountainStar facilities. We estimate it serves 8% of all Utahns who buy their own coverage. That's roughly 30,000 Utahns.

UofU offers two networks: Healthy Premier and UHealth Plus.

UofU plans offer fitness and gym membership discounts to policyholders.
It also offers alternative and self-care discounts at the South Jordan Health Center. There are also discounts for optical eye care at the Moran Eye Center.

UofU offers two options for telehealth care.
MDLive is a 24/7 virtual care network for access to medical and behavioral health care providers. It is available to most individual and family plan policyholders at a $0 copay.
