Cigna Individual Health Insurance Company Overview
Cigna offers individual and family health insurance plans to Utahns. We estimate Cigna serves 3% of all Utahns who buy their own coverage. That’s roughly 6,000 Utahns.
Cigna is well known for its EPO plans. Some plans include low deductibles and copays. Other plans are high-deductible. Cigna does not offer any “HSA-qualified” plans. Cigna offers a Diabetes Care plan, as well.
Cigna Provider Network
Cigna offers only one network for its individual and family plans. It is called Cigna Connect.
Cigna offers Cigna Connect plans for residents of Davis, Salt Lake, Utah, and Weber counties. If you live outside of these areas, Cigna Connect is not currently available to you.
You can use Cigna’s provider directory tool to search providers in the Cigna Connect network.
